In case you haven't talked to me for the last month (for whatever reason - I hold no grudges), Free Range Fairy Tales would be the short story collection that includes MY STORY!
And that story would be "The Rescue," a goofy little tale of a bitchy princess and the prince unfortunate enough to rescue her. It's a story of snark, snobbery and sheep, and pretty much anyone I know would probably get a kick out of it. (Because anyone I know would have to put up with my sense of humor.)
Not going to lie - I'm super excited to get this book, hold it in my hands, shelve it proudly in my room. But what I'm actually most excited about is reading the other stories. You know me, I love fairy tales, but they're most fun when you get to play around with them. A group of writers playing around in fairy tale land sounds basically perfect to me.
